ABH A460 Half Surface, Continuous Gear Hinge

Product Overview

Unit contains an automatic top flush bolt and a bottom fire bolt for use on wood core and composite doors up to 4’0″ x 9’0″, fire rated up to 20-minutes. The bolt is projected automatically when the active (lead) door closes and depresses the trigger on the edge of the door to lock the inactive door. When the active door is opened, the bolt automatically retracts to unlock the inactive door. Low (5lbs max) closing force. Override feature prevents damage to doors or bolts if bolt heads are blocked from entering strikes. Bolt head rods are adjustable up to 1-1/2″. Thermal lock automatically locks the inactive door under high heat conditions due to fire. Bottom fire bolt eliminates need for floor prep. Oversized fire bolt strike hole allows for slight door misalignment. UL listed.
